Hi, friends! I’m Magen Thetford, founder of The Delightful Table. I’m so thrilled you are here!

I’m a wife to my amazing husband, Tanner, and a proud momma to three young kiddos. My days before kids were filled with teaching people how to take care of their bodies as a Registered Dietitian, so it seems fitting that God would call me into something else that involves what I love…food and friends!

From my earliest memories, the best conversations have always happened around a table. I believe God designed it that way on purpose. The rhythm of daily meals invites us to nurture our bodies and souls in one place. It’s at a table with good friends and food that the hours pass by unexpectedly, and the laughter and meaningful conversations leave us feeling more satisfied than the food we just ate. 

It’s that very reason why I can’t wait to gather at the table with you.

I'm a lover of Jesus, His word, and coffee. Mama to four precious wild children and wife to Jeremy.

I count deep soul conversations with friends as my favorite hobby and desire to see women experience the freedom of living known and loved by God, and deeply cared for by His people.

I'm so glad you're here and look forward to meeting you at the table!

Gabi Keenum LPC, Ed.D.

Hi, I’m Gabi.

My life is centered around relationships which all stem from my love for Christ. During the daytime you will find me counseling, speaking, teaching, and mentoring.  Watching individuals and couples grow in their relationship with Christ to change their lives is absolutely the best!

My husband, Michael and I have raised three adult children. YAY! You can find us leading marriage retreats and date nights as we pour into other couples.  In our free time, we enjoy traveling, Disney themed vacations, Christian concerts, Broadway plays, and having friends over for dinner.

I’m excited to see you here and look forward to growth together in Christ at the table.

Celeste Claborn

Hi, I’m Celeste.

I’m a Jesus lover, and that’s my life. I’m also happily married to my husband John, and I have three wonderful kids, with another little one on the way!! We are due with our fourth baby in March, and we couldn’t be more excited.

I’ve been a blogger for many years, and I love to share and simplify what I am studying in scripture. Another great passion of mine is deep friendships, and I love to see what God can do in a community that goes beyond just having common interests or surface type conversations. My heart is to see relationships grow in a way that not only brings godly connection, but that also provides a witness to the oneness that Christ has offered us with Him!! I cannot wait to experience growth and connection with you at the table.

Hi, I’m Kandy.

I’m a mess – emotional, wordy, easily distracted. Passionate with spontaneous optimism, I’m an intentional developer still learning to ask the right questions in a vulnerable community. Since The Delightful Table offers me both the context as well as the questions to get started, its the perfect place for me to keep learning who Jesus created me to be.


I’m finding that asking God questions moment by moment is vital to keeping me spiritually fresh. When He responds in real-time, I grapple with it in print in books I’ve written as well as an online blog-style journal.
